Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 16/10/2026

These terms govern the use of Artastik (www.artastik.com) and the publication of painters’ profiles. By applying you accept them: please read them carefully.

Who we are

Artastik is run by Giacomo Fioretti, Via Ciro Menotti 2, 62012 Civitanova Marche (MC), Italy. Email: info@artastik.com

The service

Artastik is a platform dedicated to painting: every approved painter has a public page with a bio and works. The basic profile is free. In the future there may be an optional paid Premium plan with extra features: its conditions will be published separately and nobody will be required to activate it.

Artastik is in beta: the service works but is under construction, some features will come later and there may be interruptions or changes. Today no works are sold on Artastik and there are no payments.

Who can apply

You can apply if:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you are the author of the works you submit, and they are original paintings (not copies, reproductions or AI-generated images);
  • the information you provide is true and up to date.

Each person can have only one profile, linked to their email.

Application and selection

We review every application personally. We check that the works are original, that the photos are good quality and that the profile is complete and carefully presented; we don’t judge style or taste. The decision to publish a profile rests with Artastik: if an application is not accepted we will tell you why and, except in particular cases, you can apply again.

Your works and rights

The copyright in your works and their photos remains yours.

By applying you grant us, free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis, permission to:

  • publish the photos of your works and your profile information on Artastik;
  • adapt the images for display (for example resizing them, creating previews or crops for thumbnails), without altering the works;
  • use them in Artastik’s communication, for example on our social media and in the newsletter, always with your name.

This permission lasts as long as your profile is online. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your profile and works from the site; content already published on social media may remain, but at your request we will remove it where possible.

You declare that the works and photos you submit do not infringe anyone else’s rights (for example copyright or the image rights of people portrayed) and do not contain offensive or illegal material. If they do, we may remove the profile.

Your profile

During the beta we make changes to profiles for you: write to info@artastik.com from the address you used to apply. Later on you will be able to edit it yourself.

We may correct obvious typos or ask you to fix unsuitable content. We may suspend or remove a profile that breaches these terms, notifying you by email.

Founding Artists

The first 150 approved painters become Founding Artists: the badge stays on their profile forever and they will be able to try new features first. If a Premium plan is introduced, Founding Artists will get a dedicated discount, under the conditions stated when the plan launches.

Deletion

You can leave Artastik whenever you like, at no cost: write to info@artastik.com from the address you used to apply and we will delete your profile, works, photos and personal data. We may also close Artastik or discontinue the service, notifying everyone with a profile by email.

Liability

We do our best to keep the site working well and your content safe, but during the beta the service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability. We are not responsible for the use third parties make of images visible on the site without our consent; if you discover improper use of your works, write to us and we will help as far as we can. This does not affect the rights granted to consumers by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when new features arrive. We update the date at the top and, for significant changes, we notify everyone with a profile by email.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. The court of Macerata has jurisdiction over disputes, without prejudice to the consumer’s court provided for by law when the applicant acts as a private individual.
