Yes. Applying costs nothing, and your Artastik profile is free too, now and after the beta. In the future there will be an optional Premium plan with extra features, for those who want it.

Painters aged 18 or over from any country, whether they are just starting out or have years of experience. For now Artastik only features painting: oil, acrylic, watercolour, tempera, pastel, mixed media and other painting techniques, on any support.

• Photos of 3 of your works: JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB each, at least 1500 px on the long side;
• title, technique, support and size of each work;
• a bio between 300 and 1500 characters;
• your first name, last name, email and city.

A profile photo is optional. It only takes a few minutes.

We reply by email within 7 days. Right after you apply you will receive a confirmation email: if you can’t find it, please check your spam folder too.

We look at every application personally. We don’t judge style or taste: Artastik has room for many different approaches and languages. What we check is that:

• the works are original paintings made by you;
• the photos are good quality: in focus, well lit, without reflections, with the whole work shown straight;
• the profile is complete and carefully presented.

• Use soft natural light, for example near a window, out of direct sunlight.
• Frame the whole work straight on, holding your phone parallel to the canvas to avoid distortion.
• If you can, remove the frame and glass: they cause shadows and reflections.
• No filters: colours should be as true to the original as possible.

We will write to you to explain why. Usually it’s the quality of the photos: in that case you can apply again straight away with better images. In other cases you are welcome to try again at any time with different works.

The first 150 approved painters become Founding Artists. They keep the badge on their profile forever, try new features before anyone else and, if they ever choose the Premium plan, get a dedicated discount.

A page of your own with your photo (or your initials), bio, city, techniques and your 3 works, which can be viewed full screen. The profile is shown in both Italian and English: your bio stays in the language you wrote it in.

Yes. During the beta we make the changes for you: write to info@artastik.com from the address you used to apply and tell us what to change. Later on you will be able to edit it yourself.

During the beta each profile has 3 works and no external links. More works and links to your website and social media are among the features we are preparing for the Premium plan.

Not yet: today Artastik is a showcase, with no sales or payments. It’s one of the options we will consider in the future.

Yes. The rights to your works and their photos remain yours. By applying you only allow us to publish them on your profile and in Artastik’s communication, for example on our social media, always with your name.

We only use your data to review your application, publish your profile and contact you. Your email is never published, and we remove hidden data from your photos, such as GPS location. You will find all the details in our privacy policy.

Yes, whenever you like. Write to info@artastik.com from the address you used to apply: we will delete your profile, works, photos and personal data.

It’s Artastik’s first phase: we are building the platform together with the first painters. The site already works, some features will come later, and the first 150 approved painters become Founding Artists.
